I've been looking at central Wyoming. Lots of tags, lots of antelope, Public land, and even some leftover tags. Start looking at units in the 60's.

I've been looking at 3rd season hunts. I like the cooler temps and the fact that the bucks can be concentrated on winter range.

Pinetop is in 3b its not as popular of a unit as 3a/c to the west or unit 1 to the east but is a good place for late season hunts. Its primarily winter ground for elk in unit 1 and 3a/c. I would start in the area that transitions from Ponderosa Pine to Pinyon Juniper. Good luck there is no...

New member here. I live in AZ and hunt as much as I can. Been getting into applying for out of state hunts and cannot wait to start drawing tags. Drew my first elk hunt this September (archery) and I am hooked! I really like the site and look forward to contributing. -Ed
