Yeah I knew they came in loaded ammo. 147 would be where I stop in a creedmoor case. But I also don't own a creedmoor so I'll never need to make that decision. I just saw that your 257wby is 22". How much velocity do you think you are losing per inch vs a 26" barrel? I would think it's close...

I don't think the 153 or 156 was ever really intended for use in a creedmoor. That little case just can't push them fast enough. I figured a 257wby would run a 140gr well north of 3200fps? Are you hobbled with a short barrel?
