Whats the barrel life..750 to 1000 rounds?

Has anyone run these at distance in a bolt action rifle? How was your accuracy, particularly interested in how they shoot compared to Hornady 75 grain bullets. Thanks

I think you will be very happy with the ADG brass. I would like a little tighter primer pockets from the get go, but extremely uniform.

Okay that makes A LOT more sense, 22-250 AI. I'm running a standard .223 hence the anemic velocity on my end. :rolleyes: Little smaller boiler room! Reading AND comprehension would be a prerequisite on my part.

Care to share your load data? I have a short throated 8-twist 22" barrel and can only get to 2750/2800 with Varget before I run into pressure issues with the 75 amax or 77gr CC. I ran into the same thing with 8208 XBR too unfortunately, before I could get the velocity up. May be a slow barrel...

I've shot to 900 thus far with the 75 Amax,but having difficulty spotting misses and adjusting with snow on the ground and minimal "splash" with the projectile.

Thanks I will do some checking. I have this rifle for sale at the LGS, but may pull it and turn it into a long range hunting rig instead. Also I wonder about the size of the opening for ejection.. will see what i can find out

I have M-70 Post 64 Classic Stainless controlled round feed long action 300 WM. Will the base work on this rifle?

Joel, if the Hornady Creedmoor ammo doesn't shoot, get a box or case of Prime ammo. It works well in multiple platforms with friends shooting PRS shoots, and is excellent quality brass. BEAUTIFUL rifles, lucky kids!

New powder lot, new lot of brass, two things have "potentially" changed substantially with your load. I am guessing you need to re-develop your load with the new components and as others have recommended move your chronograph out a bit. A number of years back I had a new "fast" lot of Reloder...

I don't know if you can have the best of both worlds. For strictly packing, I would recommend a Bullpac frame. https://bullpacs.com/ I use a Nimrod hunting pack as a day pack, it's expandable, relatively quiet, but not waterproof. http://www.nimrodoutdoor.com/

Also to further compound/confuse the issue, you need to determine if it is a first focal plane scope or second focal plane scope. Second focal plane scopes will "mil" or be calibrated at a set power/magnification, first focal plane scopes measure mils accurately at all powers.
