    Testing primers

Your 100% correct and I do realize that if I had explained that I only use Lapua srp brass and take every step to keep my brass consistent giving the critical importance to neck tension and powder charge... may have helped everyone know why these specific bench rest primers work so well. Thanks...

    Testing primers

Ya I like picking up all the brass off the range floor and sometimes they already have a primer in them so I don’t need to buy any

    What is that?

This is true but to save you some time you could just use cci Primers , small rifle primers have proven to provide longer primer pocket life and better velocity spread so a cci 450 magnum with the 6.5 works well. I’ve gotten as low as 4 with mv so may work for you as well.

What do you consider good enough?

Have you tried 136 grain Lapua Scenar? Very easy to load and great ballistics maybe a heavier 139 Scenar? Any how good luck

147 can absolutely make the distance even better yet we could just suggest using 338 Lapua...

Hey I was wondering after I read you bump your shoulder back .0015... instead take a firefirmed case and use that as a reference point for bumping shoulder...try only bumping .0001 and neck sizing afterwards. Rounds will chamber and concentricity will give you more accuracy in theory anyhow...

What do you consider good enough?

Adding graphite helps seat a bullet your brass has elastic properties and unless your neck turn8ng and using proper neck bushings you won’t get proper neck tension.. it will throw off concentrocity and cause pressure problems.

What do you consider good enough?

Makes sense. What brass and primer are you using? I found shooting Lapua small rifle prime brass gave me more consistent velocity and spread? At 1500 it may just come down to finding that perfect node the way you doing it... your rifle will like what it likes. I’m sure you’ll find it. When I run...

Creedmoor shooter have you tried using H 4350 with that projectile? I’ve had great results and had single digit spread of 7. Might work for you.

From what I’ve learned is that PRs is not abou t needing to shoot .3 moa groups. The steel targets are quite generous and is nothing like punching paper. I could be wrong but aren’t the targets +2 to 4 moa in PRs competition? Please correct me if I’m misinformed. As for your groups they look...
