The marble used to be referred to as a McSwirly, you could even order the colors and percentages at one time, don't have a clue anymore. I have a McSwirly Black and Blue marble

I would think over the McSwirly you could use a two part urethane, it definitely would be tough and achieve the high gloss finish you want.

Len, I don't think they meant to not use clearcoat, but meant to use clearcoat compatible with the base, enamel over enamel, lacquer over lacquer and so forth. Correct me I am wrong, but most have recommended clear to protect the base layers and end up with a matte finish

Stoeger 3020 VS Mossberg SA-20 which is the better more reliable turkey hammer?

The gas driven Mossberg will cycle lighter loads than the Inertia driven Stoeger, they are both finished out about the same, the Stoeger will take a little more time and a few more rounds to break in if you just run light loads thru it. Honestly, it's been so long since I have held or shot a...

    NEVER should've done it

That Mossberg is the same gun as the Tristar Viper and Weatherby SA-08, just not as finely finished out. A stone and some oil and it will run like a Swiss watch. 28ga #8s and #9s are plenty in 410 or 28ga, 5/8oz #9 load cost about $1.68 to load at today's prices, new primed hulls, powder, wads...

    Birria for dinner

There is a local authentic Mexican food joint that sells goat meat Birria tacos, burritos and even bowls. I love it enough to give it a go. I have everything except for the goat meat and I have that lined up. Did you use your Dash sous vide to breakdown the meat or straight to the pot/grill?

What choke? TSS is the real deal, I just wish there were more domestic producers and the price was tolerable by the pound. We had to purchase some at work for a project and it had to come from a certified manufacturer. The invoice was in the box for traceability, 10.7lbs was over $1700. Now...

Anybody else getting this on Accurate Shooter?

Mine is a 15 too. A few days after he fixed my phone, my IPad started this nonsense and I restarted it and then put it in the truck. I stopped by the Apple store and I couldn't get it to do it again. Went in and found the kid who fixed the phone and he looked at it but couldn't figure out what...

    Rotator cuff surgery recovery??

Mine wasn't so bad, at least not as bad as everyone kept telling me. My Dr was a Polack, super nice guy and into bird photography. He told me that he was doing an experimental surgery on my shoulder and the recovery would be unorthodoxed. He made the cuts and used a mesh to tie everything...
