If you’re being guided, ask them what their recommendation is or their minimum. A well known guide in NM and CO told me .300 WM is their minimum. I’m presently searching for one right now.

Hands down my favorite deer caliber. I have two of them, a .270 handed down from my grandpa and my dad gave me a .270 on my 16th birthday. Both have hammered some deer! Good luck in your search.

47 but lately feel older, had a bad wreck at work in February and had a brain injury, which makes it worse lol. I’m back at work and feel ok but it’s definitely affected my memory.

What an amazing video, thanks for sharing. I’m with some of the others here about under penetration and dumping all of that energy inside the animal and no exit wound for 2 holes to leak blood instead of just one. Lots of different factors in all this.
