  • Nowadays I own/run a small local gunsmithing business, and I build and sell precision long range bolt rifles and AR's... Wish I could center my business around precision rifles, but unfortunately, people around here are so broke, I don't get lucky enough to get an order for one very often. Heck, thanks to our government, I doubt I'd be able to get the parts if I did get a bunch of orders! I've sold 10 bolt rifles so far (5 built on 700 actions, 3 on 70 actions, and 2 "re-blueprinting" and squaring factory rifles, adding match barrels, triggers, stocks, and optics bases. I've recently done 8 AR's, 5 AR-15's (3 in 5.56 and 2 in 6.5 Grendel), and 3 AR10's. I guarantee my bolt rifles to shoot 5 rd. groups 0.5 MOA or better, and 0.75 or better for the ARs.
Absolutely! I just accepted the request. Add me to yours - or do I need to do that? Never messed with this feature of the forum before.

I served 3 years in the Army, 82nd Airborne, 504th PIR 2nd Batt. as a sniper, spend a year and a half in Afganistan, 2002 - 2004, my unit was part of the shock force that hit the taliban right after 9/11 - we were among the first 5000 boots on the ground there, following S.F. and 75th Rangers. My unit, and the 10th Mountain were the quick reaction force backing up Special Forces during operation Anaconda, the first big assault in the mountains in 2002.
I was involved in long range precision marksmanship way before I joined the Army, my grandfather was a sniper in WWII and had me in competitions from age 12 - and sniper school honed my skills - mainly for speed ranging and fast follow ups.
