Hi all,
I'm recently back to the forum after taking a couple years off being busy with work and school, so if this is in the wrong category, please let me know.
As the title states I am looking for an aftermarket stock for my savage axis SA in .308. I like the gun a lot and plan to slowly...
I appreciate the input. I ask because i was able to pick up 1500 Federal LRM primers cheap and i only have 1 magnum rifle (7mm Rem Mag), and i don't plan on shooting it 1500 times. My 308 on the other hand, i plan on shooting a ton!
As the title states, I am looking for advice as to whether loading 308 with magnum primers is a good idea or not. All advice will be greatly appreciated. I will be loading for a 26" barrel with a 1 in 10" twist, either 168 or 175gr Sierra MK
Thanks in advance,
Devin
I'm looking for an out of the box ar15 complete upper in 5.56/223 to shoot long range. I don't really have a budget. I want a longer barrel, between 18-22". Most of my shooting will be done shorter than 800yds. I'm looking for a quality upper. Out of the box, not looking to build something...
I saw this gun at my local gander mountain and it seems pretty cool, especially because it takes AR mags. Sadly, i went back today to get it and now it's gone. Does anyone have experience with the rifle, and does anyone know where it is in stock?
That's awesome! I plan to reload for this caliber, since i already have all of the necessary equipment. I am a very meticulous person, espepecially when it comes to reloading, so i think i will have no trouble getting out to 500 and beyond
Wow man, that's some serious fire power. I'm going to have to wait a little longer to get the sako, but after reading all of these posts I'm definitely going with the sako. By the way, what scoops do you have on your trgs?
I do like the idea of a custom, but maybe not right now. I have a savage in 204 that i absolutely love. The action and trigger are perfect, so i do like savage guns. I have looked at the savage 110 and 10 BA and liked them both, but i thought i would try a new manufacturer for this set up. Who...
I do like the 308 cartridge because ammo was so readily available, until this whole shortage came about. I can still find components a few different places. Anyway, any suggestions on 308 rifles or anything else in the $1-3k price range for long range?
