    SOLD/EXPIRED Arrowhead Smokeless Muzzleloader

They are truly amazing. One hole groups at 100 are pretty commonplace. One thing that should be mentioned when speaking of SML and that is a pre-fit barrel is not advised to shoot the same loads as a shouldered gun built by a smith. Is one better? Depends on how recoil tolerant you are and...

    New squirrel rifle

I'd shoot it before I'd change a thing-- with a variety of GOOD ammo.

    Let’s see those Smokeless builds!!

Both Luke at Arrowhead Sporting Goods and Jeff at Hankins Precision are honest and knowledgeable folks I've dealt with both and nothing but good to say about either.

    SOLD/EXPIRED Arrowhead Smokeless Muzzleloader

I have found that a bullet sizing die is just about a must have if your going to shoot bullet to bore which is the way these guns shoot best. Either one of Tom Post's dies or one of Hanks will wring top accuracy out of a good bullet and barrel. Kyle Pittman makes excellent bullets as does Luke...

    17 rem brass

I d have to dig em out and look at them but I may have around 200 Remington .17 brass. They are not once fired! They are assorted as far as number of firings. I can resize, trim, tumble and anneal if the price is equitable with time spent. I built a .17 Predator and shoot fire formed .223...

    SOLD/EXPIRED Arrowhead Smokeless Muzzleloader

If you live in a state that doesn't allow CF rifles for deer hunting this is a very effective tool. See Hanks-Dougs message boards for load advice but they are bona fide 400-500 yard deer rifles with proper loads and bullets. Always keep a witness mark on your ramrod!!

Truck&Trailer STOLEN at Bass Pro L.V.

Theft of all types is up according to our local P.D. I know some may misconstrue this but with all the illegals streaming across the border from areas that have very little to offer, this country seems like a ripe plum to be picked. My wife and I ride expensive bicycles and several times in the...

Does anyone ever have your shotgun fitted to you?

EXCELLENT advice!! If the gun fits you well you will shoot better, end of story. I've read of stock bending with heat and oil on an O/U. With a pump or auto fitting is relatively easy with shims and or recoil pad change for LOP. A tool that everyone has is a drinking straw that can be taped...

SOLD/EXPIRED Hankins Rem 700 Smokeless ML

That is a very good deal. Jeff builds top quality guns and with Kyle Pittman's 275-300 grain bullets this is a legitimate 500 yard+ deer rifle. I do believe that the accepted load is 78 grains of 4198 yielding around 3000 fps, You could contact Jeff Hankins to confirm.

Thinking of buying a lathe, how hard is it to chamber a rifle?

Very nice bamban!! I'm afraid my shop wouldn't be quite as orderly.

Thinking of buying a lathe, how hard is it to chamber a rifle?

Thanks for the reinforcement!! I'd thought about buying a lathe for years, but you are absolutely right about the prefits. For around $300 you can buy a hand lapped stainless tube threaded crowned chambered and ready to screw on and shoot in a variety of calibers, The only caution with...

Trained Adult Lab Stopped Retrieving Pheasant

I train every day and that was my first impression. As said e- collars are great for obedience and avoidance training but I'm really careful if the animal is doing what I want done. Any stimulation at the wrong time can break a good habit as fast as a bad one. Go back to basics play fetch...
