Agree with ratrod54 and a couple others above on the recommendation of Maven optics. They have a 10x42 bino right in line with your target price. Recently got a chance to check the Maven optics line at the Denver Sportsman Expo - very nice glass.
As mentioned above, pick the bullet your rifle shoots the best. I have the 25-06 and the 257 Wby - have found the 25's to be picky on which bullet it likes best. Have shot both bullets, but for me pesonally, prefer the 110 ELD-X. Have had great luck with these on antelope hunts in WY and CO...

Just shipped a rifle back to Savage last week. It was identified as a firearm on the form on told to the tech at the counter - no problem. This was from a UPS Customer Center. The UPS Stores would not ship. I'm in Colorado.
I've had both Zeiss and Leica, both very comparable and both great binoculars. I've now bought my last pair of binoculars in the Swarovski EL 10x42 - awesome glass, a step above the Zeiss and Leica in my opinion.
