    Insulated Hunting Boots

    I was in this area last week with these boots and thin merino wool sock. Lots of hiking (7-10 miles per day) Deep snow, lots of wind. Never a hint of being cold, feet stayed dry.

    My comfort zone on game is 400 at this point. I know the caliber and bullet are plenty able well beyond that as stated by others.

    I have a SAUM using 143ELDX (Norma brass) at 3019FT at the muzzle, 24 inch barrel. The thing fires darts, and drops whatever I have shot in its tracks. Its a lot of fun to shoot. I had it made specifically to take on a upcoming elk hunt.
