I've been running an iPod touch for three years and an iPhone for one year with the bulletflight programs...I've had no issues with either one...I run my phone in a Seidio rubber armored case with the touch screen facing into the carrier...the outside is scratched up from belly crawling but the...
I have run all three also...I am currently running the zeiss...I found that the Swaro was superior if it was on a tripod and you had enough time...two things I don't usually have in the field :) I bought the zeiss before the crf1600 came out..I already had the crf900 and love it but it came up a...
Anything over 3200 fps is fast to me. I run a stock Kimberly 22-250 that shoots fantastic. You got me to thinking now. When/if I burn out my barrel I will look into 1:9 twist and high BC projectiles. Hmmm. :)
If you just mounted a new untested scope you may find that your erector tube does not move in a perfectly vertical line when you dial in your dope. You can test this at 100 yards by hanging a weighted string in front of a 4' tall piece of butcher paper. Place a dot at the bottom and to the side...
Wind in a PD town is the single hardest factor to deal with. Most days your 220 will get the job done out to 300-400 yds. Some days it will work to 500-600 yds. Every once in awhile it won't work at 100 yds. Those days I break out the .338 ultra with 300 SMK's. Not joking :-)
I'm getting 2780 out of a 28" barrel running 90.5 gr of Retumbo with 3.670 COL. Those velocities were cross checked out to 1320 yards with the Bulletflight program.

I hope you guys can help...I am tring to find a stockmaker for a special project...I would like one of those laminated stocks in the Mel Smart/Serengeti style of layup...vertical lams instead of horizontal lams with nice walnut on the outside...the stock will not be a standard...
Here in Montana it has a tendency to get a little windy...my buddies 338 Edge shooting a 300 SMK at 2850 stomps the crap out of my 300WM with 210 Berger at 2930 at long range in variable wind conditions...when its calm my 300 does great...not only does the wind blow your bullets left and...
I ALWAYS have my Cabelas packable raingear in my pack...great stuff to get you back to the truck...once there I put on my Browning Hydro Fleece GTX and head back out...it rains on me every year during bow season in SW Montana and these systems worked the best for me...I move alot and find that...
