For those that have bought the new Savage High Country, are you still pleased with your decision. I was looking at one in a 6.5 creed. I have never owned a Savage but really like the look of this rifle.

Sir did Hornady mention what the minimum impact velocity was for proper expansion on the new bullet. I have tried looking at their web page but couldn't find any info.

Mr. Stecker just wanted to say thanks to you and Berger for coming out with the new Classic Hunter Bullets. I only have one rifle that has a custom barrel, my others are all factory. Glad I can now shoot Bergers in the rest of my rifles. Can't wait to see what other Classic bullets you guys...

Thanks again Mr. Eichelle, going to give them a try. I am currently shooting the Amax, but afraid of what my happen at close range. Where I hunt here in the East, shots could be anywhere from 30 yards out to 500 yards. Thanks again Sir.
