I have a REM. 700 Sendero in 300WM. I had a brake put on it called “Fat Bastard”. It tamed the recoil substantially; almost like a .243. I’m very happy with the set up but it does have a helluva muzzle blast. Anyone shooting without ear protection is a **** fool.

I have a Ruger #1 in 25-06. It shoots very well for me. Has a Jared trugger. I load a Sierra 117/120gr hpbt bullet behind 51 gr. Of IMR 4350. I Think. Only have a Zise 3x9 on it. Still shoots very good at 400yds

I did note the date. 2017 I think. I knew it t was an old post. I’ve been loading for many years just for fun and my own enjoyment. I always try to be SAFE with my loads. I find something that my gun likes and stay with it Thanks Gray Fox. I did confuse the two powders. Your info was a big help.

Would not hesitate to use my 25-06 Ruger #1 with Sierra 120 gr. game kings. It’s deadly running close to 3000 fps.
