Has this kit fixed light primer strikes without changing springs? I'm trying to figure out where each part goes in the two piece spring design? If the big spacer goes between the BAS and bolt body, wouldn't that reduce spring preload?

Eh idk about that... they fit good enough. i probably have over 200 miles on them. i just notice the snug toe box in steep elevation changes. just probably won't be buying schnees again if that's how the 15s are gonna fit me.
