Retumbo would be the best bet. I got 190 VLD’s soaring at 3100 with Retumbo, N560 would be the next best thing. Both shoot really well and have great velocity with realistically low SD, in my rifle of course.

Looking to load up some 180gr bullets for my 33 Nosler for an Elk gun this late fall. Any of u guys load up 180’s u love and prefer over others. Got AccBnds right now and some Barnes 185 TTSX’s. Looking for some input on what u fellas like and shoot.

Yeah. I agree. I was more concerned about load overall performance. Got one tuned to the barrel so changing the barrel weight and length was my real concern. Thank for th input though. I do wanna get a EC tuner. Those things seem to work well.

Recently I had a first gen Kimber Montana fall in my lap chambered in 300 WSM. After building a load for it. 168 ABLR’s with [email protected]. Moving 2978fps, would threading and having a break put on it effect the overall load development. Change in POI, SD or even velocity. I have been reloading...

Was loading 84.5 gr of RL-26 with my 250berger OTM, getting 3059fps with .8 minute @ 300yards. Just didn’t have enough to continue the old development. So I shut it down and went to IMR-7828ssc and N-560.

R u saying retumbo isn’t fast? Or accurate? I’m not hurting for powder for my Nos. Just wondering if there’s anything worth pursuing here.

I loaded up some H1000 and 250’s and was pushing them upper 2700’s. Loaded some RL-26. And got 3020fps outta my 24” proof 1-9.4. Was looking at the hodgdon website and it showed closer to 2850 fps. My barrel runs faster than most of the book recommendations/data shows. Plus I am reading that...

Yeah I got h1000. Just seems too slow with the powders I’m looking at. My N560 and the little bit of Rl-26 I loaded up in some Berger OTM’s ahot lights out. Just picked this up for my RUM and figured I’d give this a shot.

Oh yeah. But not likely. I made a bonehead move. Mixed my brass. And feel pretty dumb. I have since then fixed the issue. Plan on testing these out to range again this next week off.

I agree. I have loaded some up already this last weekend. See where the nod lands on velocities. Go from there. However. I love n560. It's been pretty **** good thus far. Hoping to maybe get something out together for the 225's possibly.

I have some of that. Loaded up some once before. That's still close to 338WM numbers.

I have loaded 250’s in H-1000. Was not impressed. Velocities were 338WM velocities. So I scrapped the old development. Plus ran into pretty compressed loads.
