    Mauser actions

I have built a 6.5x284 on a Czech vz24. It was a good performer till the barrel was shot out. I've replaced it this winter and am in the middle of finishing up before testing.

What's your favorite bullet weight, in .224?

I like the hornady 68gr hpbt out to 300 and hornady 75 hpbt out to 600. I've been using both in my bushmaster ar for about two years. The 75gr are seated out so far they won't fit in the mag.

    .280AI and 6.5x284

I don't have any experience with the 280ai, but I been working with the 6.5x284 for over three years. It is a really a good long range round. I don't think I would use it on moose though. Woodchucks to deer out to 1K maybe.

bunny ear bag. I was refering to the rear bag rest that is next to your windshield. I prefer mine as hard as I can get it. I've noticed that a soft bag can contribute to vertical stinging. the reason i pay attention to wear my cross hairs settle after the shot is because if I set up my body...

    6.5x284 shooters

I'm only pushing mine @ 2850-2875. In both of the 6.5x284 I've built, this seems to be the most accurate using 45.5 gr of h4350.
