    FedEx strikes again😡

Same thing happened to me with a stock. Luckily I saw the Fed ex guy drive by right when I got the email it was delivered. Walked down 5 houses and there the package was. Not really that close to the same house number as mine. Being able to read must not be a required skill in the delivery...

    42gr .224 bullet???

So I was sorting some 5.56 range brass I bought some time ago. I found a loaded round in the bag. It’s a very strange bullet, weight was 42.5 grains and was pretty hard. Anybody seen anything like it?

    What’s your opinion here?

Sentimental or not you might regret it later... every gun I’ve sold or traded I’ve ended up on the short side of the stick. Enjoy it for what it is and save up for what you want.

    200g ELD X in a 300wsm

What have your experiences been with the 200g eldx in the 300 mag velocities for elk, mule deer, and black bear? I have an unopened box and thinking about giving them a whirl this year. Not concerned necessarily about long range performance as all my shots will probably be less the 500 yards...

    Boots for Elk Hunting?

Boots are completely subjective. I would highly suggest you go try on as many as you can. They need to fit, then ask and read the reviews on the boots that fit you the best. Keep your feet dry is very important to keep them warm. To much insulation could equal sweat, sweat equals cold.

    vortex viper HST low light?

I had a hslr and hst. Sold them both. Low light wasn’t that great. I had the 4-16. In the setting sun facing the sunset it would wash out and be impossible to see any thing. I have a razor lh and it does great. My Leupold vx1 did better in low light than the hst

Which Factory 300 would you pick?

I was at Sportsmans warehouse the other day and I fell for the Remington wilderness. Thought about selling my sendero to pick one up, but found a good deal on a Tikka that I couldn't pass up. I'll probably pick up one of the wilderness next year.
