Standard primers in a magnum load, a lot of loaders say oh-no. Sorry, I never used a magnum primer for my loads. The target below, upper left 2 shot group(.165)were shot 19 rounds apart with a .480 spread between the 4 shots. WLR primers. But there are rifles that need magnum primers.

Little Crow Gun works, WFT. I have 2 and have trimmed thousands of brass. Use a carbide milling bit and a drill press you can trim 30-45 a minute. Brownells has them.

I have marmots beside our main road less than a mile from my house in front of a gravel pit(no shoot).I have thousands of ground squirrels less than 8 miles from my house(yes, shoot). Rancher says kill them all. Oh, I live in town also.

Our instructions from the owner is to kill every dog we see. If you can shoot to 300 yards the game is on all day.

Montana doesn't have permits for shooting prairie dogs, it's free and no sales tax to boot. We use .17 HMR, .223, 6.5 Creed, .260 A.I., and even a .30 magnum once in a while.

Yes there are guided prairie dog hunts. I work for a fishing guide that also can add a day or two of hunts. No more than 3 clients per hunt, we supply the rifles and ammo if needed, lunch, and hunt on a private 12,000 acre ranch. I work as a spotter for the client most of the time.

.260 When he wants more rechamber to a .260 AI. I knocked down 4 mulies in 4 days with my .260 AI, from 75 to 325 yards. All 1 shot kills.
