Yeah they quoted me at $250, and at that point I'd just order a new stock. Their price is so high because they want to strip, then repaint the stock.

I have a mcmillan carbon fiber stock that has a light palma barrel channel, I want to open it up to fit a benchmark sendero CF barrel. I've seen people recommend using the dowel or deep socket wrapped in 60 grit method, but predominantly with stocks that aren't carbon. Any tips or advice...
