I have an fx 4.5-28 highmaster and a zco 5-27, while the March is awesome it really doesn't compare to the zco.
Aside from a clear glass advantage, yes it's not even what I'd call close, the zco has a much better eye box and far more forgiving parallax.
I'd keep that 6.5 match rifle as is, run the 300 prc for hunting, sell everything else, and If you still feel the need for a 6.5 prc buy a seekins ph2 for $1800
Seekins without a doubt
I was shooting a match last weekend and seekins had a vendor booth, a shooter parked next to me walked by and said he'd told them he was having extraction issues and they just handed him a new bolt and said if this doesn't work let us know.
He told them he wasn't even...
Both barrels are 26"
The Criterion 6 creed weighs 4lbs 14 oz while the 6.5 barrel weighs around 7.5 lbs.
The rifle weighs 12 lbs with the heavier 6.5.
I'd also be willing to put the 6 creed barrel on and sell that setup alone.
T3 action in KRG Bravo chassis, I put this together as a match rifle with a Criterion 6 creed barrel chambered by Solid Accuracy. 300 rounds through it, I have 300 once fired peterson cases and dies.
I put a McGowen 6.5 creed barrel on this March for NRL matches, with my 40 oz scope I'll be 6...
Yeah I'm straight up calling you on this.
Peterson does not need annealing after several firings to avoid split necks,
If this is happening it's you not Peterson.
Are you using bushing dies?
How much are you working the brass down after firing? something in your resizing process isn't right...
Exactly
I always chuckle when someone claims 40 degree shoulders don't feed well..
I'll be sure to tell that to the 70% of dudes running 6 Dashers in my squad next match.
It's all about using the right parts and mags for your build.
