Correct. I do know a guy that just charges the $25 transfer fee for guns from the Manufacturer. At the time, an FPC-K was $650 from Savage. I paid $875 for my custom shop offering. Not too bad,IMO. Where about are you from?

I called Effie to get a left handed 110 FCP-K in .300wm. It was a $200 charge for the special configuration. I thought it was a good deal so I went for it. I'm not willing to reach on the wrong side at this stage of my life.
