    With the brake it's about like a .25-06... my 120lb wife shoots it all the time, and she doesn't hanclle a 7mm Rem too well. This week I'll drop it down to $1000. After that I'll pull it apart and part it out, I got a 7 WSM that needs built.

    Last month I had the rifle set up with a Leupold 4.5-14x40 (1" tube) in a set of Talleys... and it weighed 10lbs 2oz. That's actually pretty light for how potent a rifle it is. The old style Sendero stock is far less bulky than the new one. It's basically a sporter stock from the action back...

    What weight bullets you running? Case capacity should be almost identical to the .240 Roy... maybe a little more. I'd think RE-22 would be the ticket with bullets above 70 grains. I know my 6mm Rem. loves RE-22 and the 95 grainers (Berger, Nosler). I'm thinkng you'll need to run pretty slow...

    We had a Fish and Game Officer tell us to shoot them if they were further than 100 yards from a house. The cats (both feral and domestic) were hammering the pheasant and quail populations... along with doing some serious damage to duckling survival rates. Here kitty, kitty... bang! ~JT
