I got last cow hunt unit 34 should be successful last one I took here was with a 44 mag lever action this year I'm trying 7mm mag with 154gr sst with 70 grains of r 25 behind it
local gun shop had 154 sst in stock ill try some of these and have to order some hammer hunters and maybe some vld I was surprised they were stable in the calculator
I have imr 4350 imr 4831 and r25 on hand ill see what it likes then check again once the weather cools down
I have a 7mag with 28" 1 in 10 twist barrel will be shooting summer coyote and winter Oryx at about 5000' elevation also Deer and Elk at roughly 8000' I'm looking for long range bullet that will stabilize and take the larger animals thanks for your opinions

I got a Hastings rifled barrel for a browning A5 light 12 what sabots would be good to try
for accuracy and can I load sabots of my own as the factory ones are pricy
I shot a cow elk last December at about 100yds with 44mag carbine 240gr jsp she just flinched and stood in the same spot shot again and she flinched once more walked about 30yds and fell over walked up on her and she was breathing out of entrance wounds in chest one bullet went all the way...

deer and elk will be hunted at 8000ft elevation average during cooler weather and coyote at about 5000ft during the warmer months as I use a .223 during winter when the pelts are good
