Here is the tule Elk that I was able to get yesterday. Not the same one that I scouted but when I saw him I new I wanted him. He is broken on the passenger side but has a lot of mass and I'm a sucker for that. Enjoy

I was fortunate enough to draw a tule elk tag called the East Park Bull Elk hunt her in Norcal. I have done some scouting and thought u guys might enjoy a pick of one of the larger bulls I found. The hunt starts on Monday. Was wondering if any of the members here have ever hunted the Tule Elk

If ur a trophy hunter one must hunt areas where a higher percentage of those animals live. Which requires points. And in order to hunt often it requires multiple states. In order for this to happen one must set the ground rules early in a relationship and never waiver.

That is interesting that the core lokt gave u the best groups. I know some serious hunters who use them and I also used them out of my 700 30-06 for yrs. That is great for u as the price of that ammo is reasonable.

There is specific area in SoCal called the condor region Wher u cannot shoot lead. I've never been their and never will. They r always trying to pass new laws here though. Mostly looking for accuracy as I will mainly be hunting antelope size animals so bullet knockdown not really an issue. I...

Thanks for the advise. Still really looking for that person that has been through the factory ammo to find the most accurate. Trigger is fine and plan on shooting targets, antelope and blacktail deer.
