Starting a thread where great deals on parts are listed !
Here Are my first Two...

10" keymod forend.

Aluminum barrel nut ,,, comes with 2-3"keymod rail sections with keymod hardware $56.95.

Now high end MFGs would charge $130.00 for the forend with barrel Nut and 20-25 dollars for each rail section for a total of $180.00

56.95 VS 180.00

Second deal

.750 set screw gas block
$3.95 VS $29.95 high end company.

A high-end manufacturer charges $150-300 for a quality aluminum 15" keymod rail.

Personally, I don't build with budget parts, but that's just personal preference. I want all American-made parts in mine, even if they cost more, because the quality is there. I don't want cheap red-china parts in my gun.

I usually use Rainier Arms LPK's, bolts, gas blocks, stainless gas tubes, and BCG's, Seekins MCSR V2 keymod rails, Rainier Arms Select Match barrels, Rise Armament triggers, Spikes Tactical ST-15 lowers, Ergo Suregrips, and Magpul stocks.

I don't mind paying $30-40 for a high-quality machined gas block and $10-15 for a good stainless gas tube.

As Townsend Whelen once said, "Only accurate rifles are interesting." :D

The cheapo gas block is american made hand guards i will have to look to be sure ! High dollar dont always mean best... i will post a group my cheapo gun shot,,,, cheapo pencil barrel from PSA,,,shot with a 3-9x40 nikon cheapo scope $120.00 oh and notice the one piece low dollar QD scope mount $16.00 and the cheapo butt stock $28.95

China, Taiwan, Vietnam, India, Korea...

Pretty much nowhere in America...Because we use better quality raw materials. Machining quality is only half the battle...Alloy mixture and ratios and purity and pour quality standards are VASTLY superior here in America, thanks to higher standards and regulations... Which is about the only thing our Government interferes in that I agree with.

You might just be surprised where some of the military's arms parts are manufactured ! Just one example : fabrique national .

Hello,
FN products used by the USA Military and Government are manufactured in Columbia SC...not overseas.
The Berry Amendment is why you see companies such as FN, Sig, Beretta, etc have mfg facilities in the USA.

You do realize that the military doesn't give a rat's *** about the quality of their standard issue arms, with the exception being the sniper's, machine gunners, and SO... All the M4's and Beretta M9's are from the CHEAPEST contract they could get. That's why they still run Bushmasters, Colts, and garbage that has so much play in it, that you could just about disassemble them by slapping it around a few times, and hoping the takedown pins drop out... The ONLY thing that makes a military M4 better than the civilian version is the M-16 fire control group. That's it!

These days, "mil-spec" only means better when referring to a full-auto (M-16) bolt carrier, instead of a standard semi-auto Colt-style bolt carrier, and that's about it.

Tell me all knowing one , what would you do if you had a set of drawings showing you how to install aileron cable brackets backwards ! Or the radiator hose american standard dimensions and the fittings and connections where metric, these two major F-ups alone would kill you during a flight !!! And what if a guy called you out of the blue and asked you about your S-10 (Lemmon), and told you his buddy and best friend had died flying his S-10 (Lemmon) ? The Plans and drawings had been out over ten years and had NEVER been corrected,,, even after ten years ! I cant even begin to list all the screw ups Rans had on that *** airplane !

You just may be the head of the CIA, LOL,
The "cheapo inconsistent accessories" division.

LOL, isn't it funny when you come across that person on the internet that can dispute every single thing you post and can show proof that you are so far out of your lane (lanes are something you as Idaho trucker should know) that you have no other reply to them except trying to resort to personal attack of dickwad and such to change the topic lolol.
