No, I’ve actually never had issues with it but a few folks on here that I trust say things go haywire over 85 deg. Almost every load I have using RL26 was cooked up in 90+ deg so maybe that’s the ticket to stay safe?

Oh easy, then use RL-26. That may be harder to find than 23…maybe.🤣🤣 If you don’t have any powders on hand you can find H4350 and H4831sc right now. Both those won’t get you quite the speed of the RL but they’ll be temp stable and shoot great. N560/565 will work as well.

Currently looking to start again with encore pistol barrels in the 10” range. Picked it up at a pawnshop years ago as a pistol and it never intrigued me so I converted it to a rifle. Didn’t like it so converted it to ML. Still never shoot it (mainly because it’s not legal in state I live in)...

I’ve been running 100 by volume of 777, but it shot the same with 150. Just using 2 pellets instead of 3 because most my shots are under 100 yds. Not sure what that equates to to weight? I have a few bottles of BH209 I should dust off and try using in it to see how it shoots.

I have a cva optima elite and only bullet I could get it to shoot was the Hornady 250 SST. I tried knight, Barnes, powerbelt, and traditions bullets. Different weights / different charges. Only one I could get it to shoot at a MOA was the 250 SST. All others were like 6-8” groups at 100 yds...

There’s a whole hammer load thread on here search @GLTaylor and you’ll find it somewhere. He’s got an entire spreadsheet he keeps up. I was able to hit 4K with the 92HH using a couple powders. RL26 seemed to be the best pressure wise for me.

I we into a local shop yesterday looking for some RL powders. Didn’t get price, but they only had 10X, RL50, and 4000MR. They had at least 15 lbs of the 10X. I use it, but not in need of any for a while. They also had tons of IMR 4350, but once again didn’t ask price. Went to a big box...

What I did find a little odd was he had all sorts of shotgun reloading wads / shot cards / lead shot but no hulls / shotgun primers or shotgun reloading presses? I guess maybe it all sold before I got there but didn’t see it in the initial estate sale photos.
