I had a viper and bought a razor and, from what I recall side-by-side comparing, the razor was SIGNIFICANTLY clearer / sharper image than the Viper. Given it’s getting tough to see bullet holes at 600yds with the razor, I would think the viper wouldn’t resolve at 500yds. Not trying to put down...

Distance you are shooting?

I have a Vortex Razor HD 15-45x60mm and was just at the range looking at 7mm bullet holes in brown craft paper at 600yds (no mirage that morning). Vortex has since discontinued this model and replaced with their 22-48x66mm version but don’t know how it compares to my older model.

Did some testing today on action screw torque. Tested 19, 21, 23, & 25 in-lbs. definitely tightened up at 23 & 25 settings. While the official group sizes at 25 were the best, to me the shape of the groups at 23 look more desirable …. I may run at 23. Any opinions? All groups at 50yds &...
