Great story and thank you for sharing. Great memories were made. You showed him a great time and hopefully he will return for many more. The thing that the youngster doesn't understand is that he made your trip so much more (than even words can express). Nice job sir, my hat is off to you.
You know now that you mention it I never have. And sitting here reading the above comments and thinking about it I wonder why I didn't. I've spent a lot of time hunting alone. Most of it was during archery season, so usually not extremely cold.
Korhil,
That's a pretty good idea but not sure l could afford my half. I love to hunt and I'm sure it would be fun. I was actually referring to the elk and an archery hunt would also be awesome, and in that case I would use my bow tech. Keep me in mind if you find someone place that will...
Probably a lot of cool gadgets for reloading that I don't have but for the most part I have everything I need to make useable ammo. But with out primers, powder and bullets I'm dead in the water.
New quiver for my bow. And a weight set trying to stay strong enough to pull the bow with no exaggerated movement. Mid 70s and it seems like if I turn my back on trying to stay in shape (and I use that word with tongue in cheek) it takes a month to gain anything back. Good luck everyone.
Would just be our luck you would become rich and famous and would no longer associate with us. No bad idea we'd miss you and your great since of humor.
