No direct experience, but they are made by Howa, I have Howa 1500 .243 I use for deer here in KY great gun, but w/ 20" barrel not a a L/R rifle. Howa also made the S&W 1500. A friend has a .223 S&W identical to my Howa.

Thanks, I'll search 'em but I don't use Google since they banned firearms from their "shopping" searches.
