Only with the expander in place. That worked for me. I forget actual numbers…..I want to say 0.002" tir on my 21st Century tool. My only issue has been they can bind up not concentric and then I reset the dies…takes a min or 2.

How much bullet runout are you seeing? What was it measured with? What fixed it? Your seating stem moved, even with the rubber lock washer? Wow! Never heard of that. I have seen seating depth vary due to varying seating force and bullet variation.

What is poor about their design and parts? What would be above base level parts? Is it the elliptical expander that works well for std sizing, necking up or accepting of dented case necks? Is it their threaded decapping stem that doesn’t slide? I guess I’m confused, but interested because...

Can you tell me about your experience that makes you feel that way? I ask because I have replaced dies that broke or didn’t provide consistency, but I always switch to Hornady because I have never had a problem with them.

Where does the springback go? In my experience brass has a bit of spring back.

Why? Do you like the idea of not sizing your brass? A FL sizing reamer cuts a shape small enough to allow for brass springback and a slight clearance fit. Then the reloader can set the CBTD such that the case is perfectly aligned to the centerline when the bolt is closed.

Any of those give you bolt lift?

Are we talking production job or skilled trades work? I think it matters. Taking the job is probably the right choice, but leaving and moving on may end up being the result.
