Sherman Wildcat Reloading Data is Here!!!
I run 72 grains of N570 at 3.30 coal for 3020' from a 25 1/4" barrel. that was a couple grains below pressure in mine, but work up slowly.

You should have no problem getting that speed. I reached over 3000 with a 180 Hy with a compressed load at 64 (I think} 26" barrel

Have action need cartridge
300 or 338 Mega are hi performance, more efficient rounds at that length and also loose less velocity in shorter barrels than higher capacity magnums.

6.5 Sherman and US 869?
I don't remember for sure, but I think about 68 grains and it was likely compressed, although its pretty dense!

6.5 Sherman and US 869?
I think I tried some years ago and even though I couldn't reach max pressure, it still ran pretty well.

I think Hornady PRC brass holds about the same as The MEGA with ADG.

Ive measured all the Sherman fired cases. I cant speak to the others. I think the 72.7 for the SS was the old chamber. The B chamber is right at 72. The Max is 77 and the MEGA is 84. thats H20 level at .005 trim.

I would agree with the exception that the SS is about 72, the Max at 77, and the saum closer to 73

What is the most overbore cartridge YOU HAVE USED?
One of my clients built a 22 Max. I don't remember what bullet he was running, but it was smoking fast. Thats about a 75 grain capacity 22!
