    Mortgages

We used a balloon mortgage for our first home. We chose a 7 year term because my position was only 3 years and then odds are I'd be moving, which I did. It saved us money on our interest rate. Look at Credit Unions. Better terms and rates that conventional banks. It's OK to get a 30 year loan...

    Muffs for hearing loss?

I have a set of the Custom Fit Digital Basic Electronic Ear Plugs: https://earinc.com/product-category/hunting-shooting/electronic-shooting/page/2/ They also make other ones, and can customize the amplification for you given your hearing loss issues. I use mine whenever I hunt, and they work...

    300 Wby. Mag. VS. 300 Rem.Ultra Mag. ?

Consistently under an inch with 5 shots at 200 yards with my handloads. I told him that if he missed anything, it's not the fault of the rifle. 😁

    300 Wby. Mag. VS. 300 Rem.Ultra Mag. ?

You should try a Backcountry Ti. Dad has one in 300 Wby, and it shoots incredibly well. The 3D Hex recoil pad plus the brake make it very easy to shoot, and even more so to carry.

    300 Wby. Mag. VS. 300 Rem.Ultra Mag. ?

180 grain bullet, 80.5-82.0 grains of 7828SSC and your 300 Weatherby will kill everything. With every 300 Wby I load (several) I try 80.5/81.0/81.5/82.0. One of those 4 loads WILL shoot well and you need look no further.

Muzzle brake for 300 Weatherby Mark V

Weatherby’s stock thread for a #2 barrel is the 1/2-28. They work well. I have even used this thread for my suppressor with an adapter on my 300 Weatherby without issues. There are a few skinnier Weatherby barrels (Ultralights, Backcountry) but the 1/2-28 should work for you. If you have a...

    Change in weatherby brass

That's how I separate my Weatherby brass anyway. If you look closely there are a few different variations over time. I have found that if you stick with the same headstamp and font, you're good.

Reloading factory ammo with different lot numbers.

I have hundreds of brass in each of various Weatherby cartridges. (257, 7mm, 300, 340) I sort only by headstamp and variation of headstamp (different vintage have different appearing stamps). In doing so, I can still get very low ES/SD without worrying about the lot number even with mixing and...
