    fwiw, this was what my 270win did at 200yards with 60.5 grains of magpro, and the 170EOL. though i have a 1:8 barrel at 29" long was clocking in at 2932 BTO is 2.830 i worked up a load with the 165 ABLR around the same speed and haven’t fine tuned it but it was grouping right at .800” at 100.

    finally finished load development. Hornady 200gr RN Interock 48grs of AA2520 BTO- 1.710 virgin SBR 375 SOCOM brass necked down to 358 Fiocchi LPP. Average FPS is 2252. which is plenty fast for NC game. SD/ES is crap but the group is good.

    not gonna lie, i’m jealous you got a 358 socom. i wanted one to go along with my 358win AR10. by the time i got the coinage to get one he no longer had them up for sale. been debating on reaching out to him and seeing the best route to go or see if he had a barrel tucked back somewhere.
